Ella McGran (she/her) is a freelance theatre-maker, facilitator and producer based across London and Hertfordshire. Having started her career in the arts as a tap dancer, Ella went on to train at Rose Bruford College where she completed the 'Acting Foundation' course and graduated with a first class degree in 'Theatre and Social Change'.

Having spent her teenage and early adult years battling with disordered eating and mental illness, Ella's creative work is often centred around these topics in an effort to raise awareness, break the stigma and instil confidence in young people. Her current project Operation Shrink is an autobiographical solo show that explores her experiences living with Atypical Anorexia.

Alongside the development of her show, Ella currently works as a freelance facilitator, assistant producer, and drama and dance teacher to young people . Ella has a particular interest in Sensory Theatre and Theatre for Young Audiences and hopes one day to produce shows of this nature.

Ella's next performance of Operation Shrink will be on Friday 13th March 2026 at 7pm at the Harlow Playhouse. You can book your Pay What You Can tickets here.
